Now You Can Get to Fiji Year-Round and Direct from San Francisco

Fiji Airways, Fiji’s national airline, has extended their seasonal flights from San Francisco to Nadi Fiji to year-round. Making it easier to get to Fiji from the Bay Area. The direct San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Fiji (NAN) services began mid-2016.

This year-round service will go between SFO and NAN twice a week, increasing to three times a week. Then it will run Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from June through August and December.

“Our expansion out of SFO represents our position as the premier carrier for Fiji and the South Pacific, as well as being a gateway carrier to Australia and New Zealand,” said Fiji Airways Managing Director and CEO Mr. Andre Viljoen.

“We are buoyed by the increasing demand from business, leisure and visiting friends/family (VFR) segments to the South Pacific and beyond from the San Francisco Bay Area and the greater Northwest.”

Fiji Airways’ San Francisco to Nadi, Fiji flight will depart 11 p.m. (local time) arriving in Nadi at 5.10 am (local time, +2 days). The flight will depart Nadi at 10:15 p.m. (local time), arriving in San Francisco 1:45 p.m. (local time, the same day).

“We are thrilled that Fiji Airways has chosen SFO for expanded year-round service,” said San Francisco International Airport Director Ivar C. Satero.

“This move validates the strong market for nonstop flights between San Francisco and Fiji, and we are pleased that our customers can now enjoy Fiji Airways’ award-winning service year-round.”

Another note on California Fiji Airways Airports: LAX Lounge Gets Upgraded

In addition to the increase in flights out of SFO, another California Fiji Airways lounge gets upgraded. Fiji Airways does one daily flight to Nadi Fiji every day out of LAX. Fiji Airways’ Business Class and eligible Tabua Club passengers will now have access to the premium One World Lounge, located on Level 5 of the Tom Bradley International Terminal.

The One World Lounge has excellent lounge dining, bar service, showers, refreshments, Wifi, and a business center. Guests may enter the lounge up to three hours prior to their scheduled departure time and must be over 21 years old or accompanied by an adult.
