Resort Update: The Remote Resort’s New Oceanfront Retreats

The Remote Resort is located in the Northern region of Fiji and known for the unique island getaway experience that showcases the beauty of the island’s stunning scenery and the nearby famous Rainbow Reef. The highly personalized resort has recently added two beautiful new villas – or should we say luxurious and stylish Oceanfront Retreats – for guests to enjoy.  Now the resort accommodates up to 14 guests with six villas in total. New Oceanfront Retreat for Couples

The luxury Oceanfront Retreat was designed for couples – especially for romance seekers and honeymooners. The villas opened on May 1 at 750 square feet and are located at the beginning of the jetty. They feature a plush king bed, French press coffee, a luxurious indoor bathroom, a patio with a larger plunge pool, and oversized daybed. The beach retreats are stylish, modern, and airy with expansive views of the ocean, jetty, and distant islands. You’ll feel fancy from head to toe in this new retreat.

Another options for guests are the Oceanfront Villas for a rustic luxury retreat for couples, made of local hardwood timber milled by hand on-site and feature open-air showers tucked into the hills behind each villa. And a spacious deck with plunge pool and oversized day bed.

Families (or two couples) can indulge with two-bedroom Oceanfront Pool Villa at 1,000 square feet, located at the end of the resort overlooking the ocean. The accommodation includes a kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, private plunge pool, and large deck with amazing views.

Don’t forget that the resort is minutes from the Rainbow Reef, one of Fiji’s most beautiful reefs. The Remote Resort has also recently welcoming Remote 2.0, the new boat for taking guests on daily “signature experiences” like snorkeling and other tours.

Dining

The cuisine at the resort is very highly regarded because the owner takes a special interest in creating culinary masterpieces. You’ll sample fish like tuna, parrot fish, and other fresh reef fish. You can even see the fruits and veggies growing as you walk around the island, which include bush lemon, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, eggplant, and more. Guests can enjoy dining in many different locations like the fire pit deck, jetty, private bonfire on the beach, and more. A new spot that has been getting a lot of attention from guests is to have cocktails on the resort’s floating pontoon during sunset. What a treat!!
